Caveau Bugiste is a small but prestigious Company which have become an economical driving force for all the wine producers of the Bugey. Bugey is a hystorical region of the Ain department, in France, well known for quality wines and breath-taking landscapes. Here Caveau Bugiste produces red, white rosee and sparkling wines. This year the French winery installed a new vinification tank, one horizontal open drum press and two closed drum presses from VLS. The presses will be operative from next harvest 2017.

THE CELLAR
The French winery have been supplied a horizontal PSA-30 press (open drum press, 30 hl), a PSA 50 (open drum press, 50 hl) and a PSC50 (closed drum press, 50 hl). All the three presses feature a particular inflating-deflating system which allows a soft pressing of the grapes. The Stainless Steel presses come with washing system and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller). That PLC allows to program all the pressing phases both in a manual and in an automatic way.
The tailored making and the advising guaranteed cost optimization, efficiency and quality of the results. The solutions with horizontal presses were able to answer the winery’s needs which needs to guarantee very high-quality standards for its wine.
