VLS Technologies for the Chinese market

Our customer ranges from the producers of bulk wine meant for the great distribution to the medium and small wineries. The first ones need machinery designed to work huge volumes of product for prolonged periods, completely automatic and with high flow rates; the small producers who bet on the quality of the wine are looking for reliable and user friendly machinery, not necessarily automatic but for sure smaller than the big producers.

Our technologies for the wine sector can perfectly meet the needs of the big Chinese wine producers but also those of the new Companies such as Silver Heights, an excellent Chines winery in the Ningxia region.

Silver Heights was born in 2007 from the passion for wine and wine making of their founders, Emma Gao, who studied viticulture in Bordeaux, and the French winemaker Thierry Courtade. The Company disposes of 60 hectars planted with cabernet sauvignon and merlot which adapts perfectly to the soil of the Ningxia region and produces 80000 bottles per year.

Thanks to the techniques learnt in Bordeaux, now Silver Heights produce some of the most well known Chinese wines such as Emma’s reserve, 100% cabernet sauvignon aged for more than 2 years in French oak barrels and comparable to our Brunello di Montalcino. But also: the Summit, 65% cabernet sauvignon and 35% merlot; the line Family Reserve and the series The Last Warrior, both red and white, with a less expensive price.

VLS Technologies entered the Chinese market already in 2014 by selling several scraped surface refrigerators, both horizontal and vertical, automatic and complying the regulations concerning the refrigerant. We also made the Chinese Companies aware of DE filters (horizontal with tilting chamber or centrifugal discharge and with vertical leaves) and the crossflow filters.
