We have sealed an important partnership with Bacardi who purchased a VLS system for vertical filtration to produce its famous rums.
We have supplied BACARDI in the United States with a 15 sqm vertical screens filter mod. FVV-15. The filter was designed to be part of a plant with flanges for the connection with fixed pipings both on the inlet and the outlet and on the discharge valve. The filter is equipped with an automatic system for lid lifting which allows an easier access to the filtering disks. All the DE vertical screens filters of the FVV series are compact monobloc units completely made in Stainless Steel (AISI304 or AISI316) and designed for filtering the food liquids thanks to filtering aids such as fossil flour.
The filter provided to BACARDI comes with a special ASME certification. The ASME certification for heaters and pressure vessels is at the moment the most widespread standard worldwide for checking and sizing pressure devices. The ASME certified components and devices are now accepted in the USA, in Canada and in about other 90 countries. The ASME certification allows to commercialize products all over the world and to customers operating in the international market. The products labelled ASME on the nameplates are guaranteed by the manufacturer who ensure the compliance to the regulation in terms of design and safety of the ASME code.
