FOC and FRS filters for Pepsi Guatemala

Case studies / April 2024

The extensive experience accumulated over the years allows VLS Technologies to provide consulting and design of technologies for filtration and treatment of food liquids, including for the fruit-based beverage, soft drink, and sugar syrup sectors.

In these areas, VLS’s most innovative technologies are perfected to meet specific production needs. Among the various solutions suitable for treating soft drinks and fruit juices, we find the tangential TLS filter, the SFT plate filter, and the reverse osmosis system, while for sugary solutions, suitable technologies include the FRS rotary vacuum filter, the FVV vertical flour filter, and the FOC horizontal flour filter.

Through partnerships with major manufacturing companies, VLS Technologies is able to showcase its talents and strengths to the fullest: it is the “tailored” projects that make the customer perceive the brand’s technical expertise and consultative approach.

For the innovative Pepsi plant in Guatemala, dedicated to producing the renowned Pepsi and a wide range of beverages, boasting the largest portfolio in the region and exporting to over 35 countries, VLS Technologies provided two new 40sqm horizontal flour filters (FOC), along with an FRS filter for recovering sugar from exhausted flours.

VLS Technologies is always attentive to the needs of the customer and, through the identification of the best possible solution, designs and implements customized technologies.
