In the new issue of VLS Magazine, available online, the news on technologies for food liquid filtration and some of their applications in our case studies


VLS Magazine is dedicated to our clients and to all those who operate in the sector of filtration and food liquid treatment. The new issue is now available online. In it you’ll find all the news and articles about technological solutions for liquid processing. A special feature is dedicated to Unico, the all-in-one filtration system by VLS Technologies designed for small and medium producers. Differently from the traditional technologies, Unico is capable of filtering lees and musts in a single step. Unico filtration system has been awarded with New Technology” prize at Innovation Challenge SIMEI 2017. A remarkable recognition two years after the Award received in 2015 for Lees-Stop that once again highlights the expertise of our company and its attitude towards the investments in research and innovation. The award ceremony will take place at Drinktec Munich, the leading global trade fair in the sector of technologies for beverage & liquid food, where VLS Technologies will be present as exhibitor.

In the spirits market we have partnerships with major brands: Campari Argentina that in order to produce its world-famous red bitter has acquired our 50-sheet Press Filter with ATEX certification and Bacardi that can rely on VLS’ 15 sq.m Vertical Filter FVV-15 with ASME certification for the US market.

Among the success cases for oenology you can read about the collaboration with Cantina Montelliana, the most important winery in the Montello and Colli Asolani area that gains support from two of our solutions: a continuous Flotation Unit and an isobaric 24-membrane Cross-flow Filter for the filtration of sparkling wines. Olearia Desantis, one of the most important Italian companies in the oil market, has chosen the advanced technology of our Pressure Leaf Filter designed to fit the needs of the company located in Bari. In the fast-growing market of beer VLS Technologies signed two new partnerships with the Danish producer Harboe and with the Scottish company Williams Bros. Brewing Co. providing a 35 sq.m Vertical Filter and a 10 sq.m Horizontal Filter.
