The press filter is constituted by a glazed iron frame (that can be wholly coated with AISI 304 or AISI 316 stainless steel), connected plates and polypropylene sheets, manual latch and feeding pump with stainless steel expansion vase and control mechanisms. The range includes the following sizes: 400×400, 500×500, 630×630, 800×800, 1000×1000 and 1200×1200 but on request VLS Technologies can realize press filter in different sizes, since each of our solutions is expressly designed on the basis of the clients’ specific needs.

ATEX certification

ATEX derives its name from the French “ATmosphères EXplosibles” consists of two EU directives describing what equipment and work environment is allowed in an environment with an explosive atmosphere. The 2014/34/UE directive is mandatory for manufacturers of instruments destined to areas with explosive environments defined as a mixture of dangerous substances with air, under atmospheric conditions, in the form of gases, vapours, mist or dust in which, after ignition has occurred, combustion spreads to the entire unburned mixture. Its consequence is the need of ATEX Certification for all those instruments.
